Join Rick Crosslin and Keith Ramsey for an exciting science show titled “Science is FUNdamental!” at Celebrate Science Indiana 2022 on Saturday, October 1 in the Elements Financial Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Rick and Keith are science teachers at MSD Wayne Township Schools. They love doing science shows at schools and for special events.

Each Holiday season Rick Crosslin becomes “Science Claus” where he and his elves put on a family science show to honor the work of the Royal Institute. In 1825 Michael Faraday of the Royal Institute in London, England performed the first Christmas science show for the public and children. The Royal Institute continues to this day to provide a holiday science show for children and all ages. Following this tradition, Rick and Keith have done many programs. Recently, they worked together with the Conner Prairie Headless Horseman Halloween program to do a weekly “Science vs Halloween Magic” program at the open-air pavilion.

This year Rick and Keith will be doing their fun science demonstrations at Celebrate Science Indiana. The program will include many areas of science – chemistry, physics, and discrepant events. Regardless of the topic – the demonstrations will be FUN for all, especially children Make sure you take time in your schedule to see one of the three “Science is FUNdamental!” programs planned for the day.
