Families, get ready for a full day of discovery, excitement, and hands-on learning! Celebrate Science Indiana is a free, interactive, and award-winning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) festival designed to spark curiosity in attendees of all ages. As Indiana’s premier science celebration, last year’s event welcomed over 4,500 curious minds—united by a love of learning.

This year, Celebrate Science Indiana returns with even more engaging activities that highlight the role of science in everyday life, the thrill of discovery, and its impact on our economy and society. The event aims to ignite young Hoosiers’ passion for STEM and inspire them to pursue rewarding, future-focused careers in science.

• Rick Crosslin’s SCIENCE SPECTACULAR – 12:30–1:15 pm
• Guy Hansen’s “CHEMISTRY IS A BLAST” – 10:00 am, Noon, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm
• Andy Harris: Computer Gaming Sessions – 10:00–11:00 am and 1:00–2:00 pm
• James Lowry: “Antarctica” Presentation – 11:30 am–12:30 pm and 1:00–2:00 pm
• Allison Kempers’ Little Critter Show: (Early Childhood Education Corner) – 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm

What to Expect

Organized by the Science Education Foundation of Indiana (SEFI), Celebrate Science Indiana is a free, inclusive community outreach event open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. With ~50 engaging exhibitors on-site, attendees can explore:

• Hands-on STEM activities

• Live science demonstrations and shows

• Opportunities to meet industry professionals, professors, and educators

Special Feature: Book Donations

Support literacy and share the joy of reading by donating gently used children’s books at the Indy Book Project booth.
